Academic Conference on Soft Power and Cultural Diplomacy in a Fragmented Global Order
The conference explores the role of soft power and cultural diplomacy in addressing global challenges amid a shifting international order. Hosted by Fudan University with co-sponsors Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP), Treccani Cultura Foundation, and Villa Vigoni, this conference continues a trilateral academic dialogue between China and Europe. Building on previous conferences in 2025 focused on China-EU cultural dialogue and multilateralism, it aims to produce a special issue for the journal Global Public Policy and Governance (GPPG). The event welcomes paper submissions from disciplines including political science, international relations, cultural studies, and law, with a focus on soft power, cultural diplomacy, and global governance in a fragmented world order.
