The Development of Hybrid Intelligence in the Public Sector
With increasing government focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Collective Intelligence (CI), the connection between the two still needs further exploration. This presentation aims to explore the dynamic relationship between the two to build hybrid intelligence in the public sector. Our overview clarifies the intersection of the two, revealing how AI design can leverage crowdsourced intelligence input to improve efficiency. Simultaneously, the development of AI also depends on the quality of collective intelligence data. Furthermore, our overview highlights key areas such as smart cities (IoT), personnel, social media, and governance through case studies. We elaborate on the components of hybrid intelligence design. Finally, we use case studies to illustrate issues related to the design, regulation, and governance of hybrid intelligence in the public sector.
