- 简介:
- Continuous carbon fiber is a well-established structural material widely used in lightweight composite structures such as aircraft and wind turbines. According to the needs of smart structures, its functions have expanded from structural to non-structural, exhibiting increasingly rich multifunctionality, not only including the relatively well-known conductivity but also less-known dielectric properties (dielectric constant and electret behavior) and inductance (microstructure-driven, without winding). The dielectric constant of carbon fiber is 108, and the inductance calculated based on size is 103. Unlike the mature dielectric science of insulators, the dielectric constant of conductors involves emerging science, which promises new applications in sensing, electronics, energy, and motors, all using multifunctional structures.

报告介绍:
The lecture will discuss how continuous carbon fiber, traditionally used as a structural material, can be enhanced with additional functionalities through conductivity, dielectricity, and inductance. These properties enable new applications in various fields such as sensing, electronics, energy, and motor technology.
