【讲座预告】人机混合在公共部门的发展与应用

With increasing government focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Collective Intelligence (CI), the connection between the two still needs further exploration. This presentation aims to explore the dynamic relationship between the two to build hybrid intelligence in the public sector. Our overview clarifies the intersection of the two, revealing how AI design can leverage crowdsourced intelligence input to improve efficiency. Simultaneously, the development of AI also depends on the quality of collective intelligence data. Furthermore, our overview highlights key areas such as smart cities (IoT), personnel, social media, and governance through case studies. We elaborate on the components of hybrid intelligence design. Finally, we use case studies to illustrate issues related to the design, regulation, and governance of hybrid intelligence in the public sector. Helen K. Liu is a Professor & Chair of Political Science at the Taiwan University. She received a Ph.D. in public administration from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2009 and a BA in economics from the University of Texas-Austin. She was awarded the Yushan Young Fellow Program and the Ministry of Science and Technology Outstanding Research Award. She also serves as the Director of the NTU Center for Collective Intelligence. Her research has been published in PAR, GIQ, AJPA, and P&I, focusing on hybrid intelligence, crowdsourcing, and public engagement. She serves as an Associate Editor of Government Information Quarterly and on the editorial board of Public Administration.
