We study the metric geometric mean and two kinds of spectral geometric means with their similarity and difference. We finally see the recent results on quantum divergence, as matrix versions of the squared Hellinger distance, and barycenter to minimize quantum divergences. 报告人介绍： Prof. Kim earned Ph. D. at Louisiana State University in 2011 and worked as postdoc at the same university for 2 years. Prof. Kim started as an assistant professor at Chungbuk National University in 2013 and now he is a full professor. Prof. Kim had been appointed as chairs of math department and the institute of industrial and applied mathematics. Currently Prof. Kim is an ambassador of the Korean Mathematical Society and a scientific committee of International Linear Algebra Society.
